THE FOUR FEES
- NaijaMart service fee — for running the trust. Who pays it is agreed when the trust is created.
- Arbitration deposit — held, not spent. It goes to the arbitrator only if there is a dispute, and comes back to the buyer if there is not.
- Bank collection fee — the bank’s charge for receiving the transfer. Added on top so it never comes out of the seller’s money.
- Bank transfer fee — the bank’s charge for paying the seller. This one is the seller’s, and is shown to them before they agree.
Fees are fixed at the moment each stage is funded. A later change never alters a price someone has already been quoted.
